Chris has worked on my boat a number of times, and has gone above and beyond what can be expected. In addition to being very knowledgeable and doing good work, he has picked up the phone or answered a text when I was having issues with the boat during non business hours. He has also made it a point to fit me into his busy schedule on short notice. I wouldn’t expect such concierge service from Chris going forward, but feel compelled to mention it in this review.
Chris is responsive and a pleasure to work with. Absolutely recommended.
After multiple weeks of struggling to get an old diesel engine running on my sailboat, I called Chris and he squeezed in an appointment at a moments notice. He not only went through the engine thoroughly and timely, but he also explained what had been causing certain mechanical issues and also what to keep an eye on and monitor in the future. I shopped for a running take out (RTO) for my Hylas 44 sailboat and found one that Chris was selling on FB Marketplace. He made the transaction incredibly easy, and delivered exactly as expected. A not so easy feet when ordering an expensive engine, site unseen! He is as advertised and maybe even better! I would do this again in a heartbeat!
My Kadey Krogen 58 needed a full John Deere engines plus Northern Lights generator service, including oils, filters, impellers, coolant pumps, new turbos, cooler clean, pressure test etc. He did a flawless job, he works fast and is reasonable in pricing. I have already done 1200 nm on them and working beautifully.
