Went there to get landscape rock for my upcoming pond project. Their pricing per pound, is amazing. All the staff was incredibly friendly. Got excellent pricing for delivery of the larger rocks too big for my truck. Look forward to doing business with them again soon.
Great family and always a pleasure to work with. I’ve had a few deliveries for mulch and topsoil and picked up more mulch and rough sawn timbers over the past year. Always quality materials and great service.
Ryan from Sawvell is a very nice, honest, and helpful guy. I always get a good deal, great products, and have a pleasant experience. This business is well established, and I think this is a family owned business- it's a good opportunity to support local businesses but also get excellent service. I highly recommend them.
I have to express my huge disappointment with this business. They sell by tote. As a first-time buyer I asked Ryan how much is a tote and got the feedback it is "a little bit less than a face cord". So I ordered. When the wood was delivered I stacked it and it measured 4.5ft by 5ft which is approx. 1/3 less than a face cord measures. I brought up my concern and the only thing I heard was, that "a little bit less" can equal up to even 30%. If a little less is that much then the only thing I can say is - never again guys. Called at 9:45 PM after a serious flash storm caused a large tree to fall on our home. After contacting our insurance agent, we called Sawvell. We expected a voicemail and to simply get on the list for a return call tomorrow. I was pleasantly surprised to have one of the owners, Christine, pick up and, with empathy and concern, assure me that she would be in touch with her foreman tonight and that he’d be in touch with me either tonight or first thing tomorrow and would handle the job tomorrow.
