I have personally owned a retail business in Denton for 3 years now. Every single year, I get harassed by Sawko & Burroughs, for "Property Taxes," that are past due. Every singe year, I have to call and explain to them, that the Tax ID listed on the letters they send me, are for the previous owners, who I bought the store from. I show them every single year, my Tax ID and proof that I am paid in full.
