The spice blends do all the work for you! I actually inherited a group of spices from Savory Spice Shop. I started to use them and chicken and veggies took on a new life in our house. I actually haven't been to this store, but you have to try their all purpose seasonings (love Table Mountain) and their salt free options (try Summit County). I will be refilling my bottles soon.
A little out of the way, but friendly and local. Give them a try.

Great shop. Great people. Great spices. Great selection. If you're in Sellwood stop by and get yourself some Bourbon Barrel Smoked Black Pepper and Southern Spain Pinchito Spice. Both WONDERFUL!
