They changed away from syringes for the transdermal medications. I was not informed of the change before being charged and driving 40 minutes to pick up the meds. When I opened the new dispenser it already had medicine all over the tip that needed to be cleaned off and disposed of. It then took 4 "clicks" of dispensing nothing before it gave a dose that looked like less than what it was supposed to be. Second time they’ve incorrectly filled the prescription for my cat. I wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy. If you do use them, check your prescription before leaving. I will be searching for a new pharmacy. Now, once again, I have to sit and wait for them to correct their mistake. Update: After sitting for 20 minutes and confirming with my vet that they did call the correct prescription in, I was told that they still don’t have it. The negative reviews are correct. This company no longer fills prescriptions my doctor has relied on in the past for other patients. I would be a new patient and I had to visit their store to find out that they are unable to fill my prescription. They sent me to cvs. Ive notified my doctor so this doesnt happen to anyone else.
Staff were helpful and quick turnaround for prescription fulfillment.
I have been using Saveway for 4 years, and until it got bought out by some clinical research organization, it used to be great. The staff is quitting and not being replaced causing long delays to get my cats pimobenden, then to top it off, they stopped compounding the smallest dose and the taurine, so they can “prioritize pain meds”. Do yourself a favor and find a different compounding pharmacy. This one is terrible.
