My name is Willow and I'm an 18 month old golden retriever suffering from renal dysplasia. I recently had a 3-day stay at Savannah's Crossing for IV fluids. They did everything they could to make me comfortable. They played my favorite music and gave me lots of attention to help me not miss my mommy, daddy & brother too much. My only complaint was they tried to feed me kidney care food...I mean...yuk! I was much better after my mommy dropped off my salmon filet and rice. Dr. Maddux has been taking care of me since I wa... read more
I’m very grateful for the care provided by Dr. Maddux, Dr. Parks, and all the staff at Savannah’s over these past few months as my elderly cat has started to get sick more often. Everyone has taken the time to answer my questions and provide an abundance of information regarding treatment options so I’m able to feel reassured. I live up in Bellevue and drive to Murfreesboro for her care because I feel confident in their services. I can’t recommend this vet enough!
We recently moved to Savannah's Crossing for the care of our two pups- Charlie and Oliver, aka The Mild One and The Wild One. Aka The Lazy One and The Crazy One. Not only did we receive terrific well-check care but amazing recommendations on ways to help Oliver overcome his....Oliver-ness. We left with products to recearch, trainers to consider, and medication options. The patience shown by doctor and technicians alike was such a relief, and they also didn't mind TOO much that Charlie had his typical nervous belly while in t... read more
The doctors and staff at Savannah’s Crossing go above and beyond. We have a couple of senior pets that they are helping us manage with both compassion and clarity, which has really helped us when making tough decisions. It’s a smaller practice, and I personally really prefer that- you know that you and your pet is getting their full attention. Thank you for all you do!!
I liked Dr. Maddox but the office staff is horrendous. I called them concerning an emergency visit for my pug Bella on Wednesday July 22 and was told very matter of factly that they didn’t have time to see me and I could make an appointment for the following day????? She said they were double booked and couldn’t fit Bella in. I was told to take her to an emergency vet ......at 10:30 in the morning? This was not an after hours call. I went to another vet, and called once more to double check if she could be seen and they said... read more
Business response:
Ms. Branam, the downside of being a small, personable vet office is we sometimes are not able to see your pet immediately. On the day in question, there was one doctor here. If a dog has a breathing issue, our first concern is to make sure the pet is seen immediately and receives the care necessary. We make every effort to see sick patients as soon as possible, but there ARE limits to how many patients we can see and how many cases we can manage. We can only divide our time so much and still give appropriate care. For that r... read more
I received my dogs 3rd opinion on her health, and had been battling with medications and diet changes to help my sweet girl, and I brought her to Savannah’s. Not only did they find the best medication and she’s been healing, but they were amazing with my German Shepherd, they went at her pace. She usually gets extremely stressed out at the vet and she did better here than she has ever done at any other vet. I bring a muzzle just in case and I didn’t even need it! They also treated my moms dog as well when I brought her in. I... read more
Business response:
Thanks Ms. Woodall!! I'm glad Dr. Parks has been able to help your girl.
We were suggested Dr. Maddux by a friend of ours. Our first call for information went so well and made us feel so comfortable we scheduled for this Saturday morning. First impression is very favorable and we look forward to our new relationship.
The people who work at Savannah’s Crossing are the most kind, caring, and honest people. I will always take my fur babies here and I know they will always be in good hands.
Dr. Maddux and his staff are fantastic! I found Dr. Maddux on yelp several Years ago and have seen him ever since. He’s the primary veterinarian for my two dogs, a senior and a puppy! He knows my dogs well and caters to their needs. He’s considerate of my budget and puts the dogs health above everything. I’ve never paid for an ambiguous treatment or service or seen them on a bill. He thoroughly explains things and answers any questions I have for clarification. He has a great bedside manner for me and my pets and his staff d... read more
