Savannah is an ole southern city. All the charm, history, and sophistication.
Can't say enough good things.
My family and I lived in Savannah for 3 years ( we're trying to get back!). We loved walking around downtown, enjoying the numerous festivals, the wonderful dog friendly environment and the absolutely gorgeous weather!
Great couples experience our girls weekend. Use expedia and choose an express deal - historic district to get a great price on a room down town within walking distance of River Street and the Square. (that I can remember the name of) Only a thirty minute drive to Tybee Beach. Relax in the sun all day and play on River Street all night.
I was passing through about six years ago and fell in love with it right away. I have been back every years since over the Thanksgiving holiday, sometimes even twice a year! Going back again next week and can't wait. One of the loveliest cities I have ever visited with a photo op at every corner. The people are the nicest anywhere and OMG....love the food. Taking some friends this year that have never been and hoping they too fall in love like I have.
The most stunning place to visit x the people are so welcoming and friendly! Cant wait to go back to see y'all!!!

Visited for the first time last June and returned to run the "rock'n roll" half- marathon. Love the history, scenery and nice people. A beautiful city!
Someday I'll get to enjoy Savannah again
