Small local family office, the hygienist and dentist are both nice and work efficiently. prices are reasonable and he does a nice job. I have been a patient for 7-8 years now.
I should have believed all of the negative reviews. I confirmed the acceptance of insurance before scheduling the appointment. Arrived on time and was told by the owner's wife, 'Oh, we don't take your insurance.' I explained that the gentleman I spoke with told me otherwise, which is why the appointment was made. She shrugged her shoulders, took a sip of her water, and said, 'Yeah, it can be confusing.' Absolutely no apology or empathy was shown for my time wasted.
So thorough & love that I found him.
His receptionist made me cry. The review saying these people are nasty are true. Steer clear!!! Plenty of food dentists in the area.
Dr. Sauvinsky is not a favorable dentist. Besides the insurance issue we had with him, he was not a pleasant person. He was totally nice to me, but the entire time he had nothing good to say about the dentist I had gone to previously that he had covered for. Repeating questions like: “Don’t you like how I’m faster than [my previous dentist]”? and “my waiting room is much better than [your previous dentist], right”? Dr. Sauvinsky is not very nice. He bad mouths other dentists and former staff to his patients. Double check before you have anything done that they have coordinated with your insurance. If they mess up they will not take any responsibility and expect you to eat the cost.
I will not go back to Dr. Sauvinsky's office. They never called my insurance to verify my coverage but tried to say they did. My daughter's crown ended up not being covered. I had already paid his office over $600 for the crown and then sent an additional payment of almost $300. They have sent me to collections for the remaining $400. I have never been to a dentist office that has not verified what was covered or at least let me know that they hadn't been able to verify so that I knew ahead of time.
Best dentist I have ever been too. From his bedside manner to his painless novocaine shots, he is highly skilled and always listens to my concerns. I will never have another dentist!
Dr sauvinky is very kind. He’s straight forward and explains things very well. He doesn’t do unnecessary work. He’s the only dentist I’ll talk my family to.
