RecommendedA fun and fabulous learning experience for kids and adults alike. A small scale olden day village with people dressed in the style of the day, teaching the skills and crafts of yesteryears. A train ride, live animals and gift shops to boot. Very enjoyable day out.

I went a couple times as an elementary student, 20 or so year ago. Then over the last few years I’ve taken my son there as well. We absolutely love it! This most recent trip we ate at The Barn before heading for home and it was absolutely delicious! We have nothing but wonderful experiences at Sauder Village and recommend it to everyone we know.
It is a great place to visit and there is a lot to see and learn for everyone.
Our first time there and it was wonderful! The period staff were knowledgeable and exciting! I think my favorite was the Indian village and the fire cooking! Although I really enjoyed everything! Also loved the food at the Barn!
Informative day walking around, always learn something new every time I visit! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great experience I highly recommend!
