Recommendedvery informative and historically accurate account of northern Ohio settlers. Volunteer interpreters give demonstrations of glass blowing, broom making, tin works, wood carvings, basket weaving, quilt making, weaving as well as verbal accounts of medical, dental education etc.
Fascinating. A lot of time and effort goes into this place. Makes a person feel like they have gone back in time. Staff and volunteers are very well versed on topics.
The weather was perfect. Had a great day, riding the train was probably the best. Loved the commentary on the ride. Great day spent with my daughter in love!! Looking forward to our next visit!!

Bring our grandkids here every year camping swimming and a day at the village. They love it. Ages 4-17 this year.
Take one of the glass blowing classes! It is so much fun!
We always attend the fiddle contest every summer. Great event and great talent. Sauder Village is a wonderful place to bring our grandkids. They so enjoy the animals and the train ride. The museum has sparked some great conversations about what it was like when grandpa and I were young. We are so fortunate to have this gem so close to our home. The buffet at the restaurant can't be beat and the Inn is a real treat. Beautiful!
