Sauciety is a modern American grill with a culinary twist that builds off of a high-quality regional cuisine, and then focuses on a variety of unique and flavorful sauces, spreads, dips, and chutneys that the guest is able to select from to customize each course of their meal. It's a place where jeans and a polo t-shirt are as appropriate as a sport jacket and slacks, where drinking a bottle of wine is as comfortable as a cold beer, where a quick burger is as enjoyable as a customized dinner for two. Whether you are hosting ... read more

Extremely Great Customer Service/Management and Food Satisfaction – I WOULD LIKE TO START BY THANKING THE MANAGEMENT AND STAFF OF SAUCIETY FOR ALLOWING ME TO ENCOUNTER SUCH GREAT EXPERIENCE IN THIS FABULOUS RESTAURANT. THE VARIETY OF SAUCES AND THE FOOD PREPARATION WAS OUTSTANDING. THE IMMEDIATE ATTENTION AND SERVICE COULDNT HAVE BEEN BETTER. THE WAITRESS WAS RESPECTFUL AND HELPFUL WITH THE SELECTION OF SAUCES FOR OUR DINNER AND DESSERT. HONESTLY I WAS CONTENT WITH THE FAST SERVICE,THE STAFF, THE SOOTHING SETTING,THE SCENERY... read more
Great Dining Experience – As a South Boston resident I was excited to have a much needed upscale restaurant in the neighborhood. After reading the reviews here I have not gone to the restaurant until Saturday night. I wish I had gone sooner, our experience was completely unlike the other reviews I have read. The service was prompt professional and unobtrusive. The room is very romantic and warm. The wine list has a good range of price points and included one of my favorite wines from Stags Leap. The Tuna Tartare appetizer is... read more
Neat concept and good food eclipsed by really bad service – My husband and I dine out a lot, so we were really excited to head to a new restaurant with a fun concept in a different part of the city. The hostess was nice enough, and seated us within 15 minutes on what looked like a busy night. Then at least 10 minutes later our waitress showed up -- an older woman who seemed totally out of her element. When my husband asked for some type of fruity martini, she was completely lost and couldn't think to ask the bartender for a ... read more
Good Idea, Bad Service – I have to agree with other reviewers that the service was bizarre, to say the least. We waited ages for our food and had limited interaction with our actual waitress who was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended some great sauce/food pairngs. The other staff was either unfriendly or rude, i.e. leering down my friends shirt at her cleavage while refilling her water. Also the night that we were there the hotel was having some sort of event in the lobby and the noise from that drifted into t... read more
WOW what bad service – I dine out a lot, but very rarely write a review for a restaurant, but I must warn you to stay away. The service at Sauciety is so terrible its not worth spending the money. We dined during Restaurant Week, which can be dicey. The menu looked good, similar to what is normally on the menu. We started out ok, the drinks came out rather quickly. Then the wait began. We waited almost 40 minutes waiting for an appetizer that came out cold. The best part was that we ordered skewers, chicken, beef and shrimp,... read more
I'm a fan – I enjoyed my meal at Sauciety. After reading some not so good reviews, I was a little nervous about having picked it for Restaurant Week. However, I enjoyed every part of my meal. The bread basket was fantastic -- I'm a big fan of sourdough and it was quite good. My mom was a big fan of the cranberry sourdough. The salad was among the better I have had in a long time. I thought the meal was great -- if you're looking for a solid meal w/o the frills, good portions, etc., then you'll like what Sauciety has to offer... read more
Such Slow Service – I went to Sauciety with 2 friends for what we were hoping to be a nice dinner before a concert at the Fleet Pavilion. We arrived at 6 and were promptly seated. We placed our dinner order and also ordered some wine. We sat and waited for our wine, it took about 20 minutes just to come out. Our appetizers came about 40 minutes into the meal and then we sat again and waited. About 2 hours later our food finally came (only because we complained to the manager and she finally brought it out for us). Needless t... read more
The staff must be sauced. – It wasnt so much that there was any problem with the food or the environment or even the plethora of sauces. It was just that the staff was so. peculiar. If only I had known how bizarre the night would be when first greeted by our server, I would have cut my losses and bailed immediately. This amazingly awkward man introduced himself and proudly announced that it was all about the sauce. After struggling to communicate our drink orders (I had to spell M-O-J-I-T-O, my boyfriend asked what beers whe... read more
The Westin Waterfront's in-house restaurant lives up to its name by serving modern fare with a dizzying array of sauces. – In Short With seating for 130 diners, a handsome bar and continuous service throughout the day, Sauciety is an all-purpose restaurant, suitable for the massive Westin Waterfront. Lunch and dinner patrons enjoy modern American fare with a twist, as a plethora of sauces, spreads, dips and chutneys anchor the menu. For example, after selecting a Niman Ranch pork chop or king salmon fillet, diners get to cho... read more
