Best cupcakes and variety in South Charlotte....awesome spot for an adult or kid to go pick from a great selection of sugary treats and cupcakes. Always moist, flavorful and reasonably priced.
The staff here is very welcoming and seem to work very well in a child heavy environment. I had the red velvet cupcake as well as the strawberries n' creme. Both were delicious! The cake was soft and moist and the buttercream was very flavorful. All in all I had good experience and recommend if you want to indulge in a gourmet desert .
Wow. We bought a dozen assorted cupcakes. There were no bad choices! We bought the box as we were having out of town family staying with us over the weekend. They were all delicious and everyone got a favorite flavor. We were told that since they were fresh we didn't need to refrigerate the cupcakes since we would be eating them within a couple of days & we were keeping them indoors in a cool environment (NC Mountains). This is probably more of a 3 star place, but I'll give them a 4th star for consistency, which is so rare at bakeries usually. We've been here at least 10 times and afterwards I always have the same takeaway: it's good enough that I'll go back when convenient, but it's not the best ever. We are usually very happy with the plain flavors like chocolate with vanilla frosting. Those tend to be an excellent execution of a basic item. I had the same experience as the other review...just awful! Cake was dry, frosting inedible.
Presentation is fabulous and website and store design made me really excited to try their cupcakes. I chose the white chocolate pretzel variety, thinking it would be as amazing as I had anticipated. The icing was too tall and stiff, it actually separated from the cupcake as I bit into it. This made me wonder if it was freshly baked or not. The consistancy of the icing was pasty and not creamy.
