Seeing the Phantom of the Opera at this theater was wonderful. However some ushers are needed in the balcony area to let you know where your seat is.
I thought it was fantastic. We found our seats fast with some help as busy as the attendants all were. We were comfortable. Fantastic experience.
I saw Nutcracker almost 10-years ago and sat in Orchestra section. I don't remember having any difficulties finding my seat. This year, yesterday, I saw Phantom of the Opera and sat in the Upper Bakcony. The Balconies are poorly marked and the rows for the Upper Balcony was just confusing. There were no ushers to help people find sections. But, I'd still see another play here.
The Opera as simply awesome., beautiful theater, but need more ushers. Seating is poorly labeled , fly by night bartender couldn't even make a simple Margarita or a Long Island ice tea drink.. None the less we had a great evening and experience.
Food and snacks should not be sold or allowed in the theater ever, drinks should only be sold at intermission, if at all, the doors were opened and closed from people going to purchase drinks and snacks so many times during the performance it was ridiculous. Some of these people must have thought they were at a rock concert, so rude. I paid $80 for my seat which I'm sure was "cheap" but I felt like I was sitting in a $5 seat in a small desperate for money theater.
