The staff here was aweful. They ignored all the things they were supposed to do for my Dad. He was not watched at all and when he had a horrible fall they did nothing for him until my family demanded he go see a doctor. Turned out he had a broken arm and a shattered hip. Mind you when I met my father there to go with him to the doctor I was told there was nothing wrong with him and we should be back soon. Well thank god we never went back... EVER... unfortunately that fall combined with the fact it took 2 days for us to get ... read more
My mother is receiving excellent care, not only the doctor, but also the nurses. Her PT has helped her a great deal already in the first week to recover strength. She likes the food. Nursing staff are compassionate and attentive. Her rehab care is consistent. She has CHF and is recovering from a hospital stay for pneumonia and the flu.
Many of the nurses and cnas are good at what they do there is often too much waiting time for help mainly because at our age it is urgent. There are of course employees everywhere that do as little as they can get by with. I think this place though has mostly dedicated nurses and assistants even to the house keeping staff.
The nurses and aides that work weekends are amazing! They really care about the patients and they are diligent to check in on residents. They have a bunch of patients to care for every day and I think they do the best they can. The only thing I could add is to say this facility would be a 5 star rating if the call bell was answered quicker, but they really give it 100% effort.
We put my mother in after she had her stroke for rehabilitation I stayed there with her everyday helping the aides one time I put mom to bed at 3pm and came back at 7 and she was still in the same spot she was in her chair with no support for her head in pain then she was on a soft diet came in she had a regular diet last draw I went out of town for two week and came back her bottom was split to the white meat that's when we was forced to take her home not a place to put your love ones sorry to say
