When you first enter Sardinia, you wonder if you have entered some sort of a wine shop with the wall to wall placement of imported wines. After you get over the massive collection of drinks you find yourself looking around the high-ceiling room and even the wooden brick oven in the corner which illuminates the space with a warm glowing feel. The food leaves you satisfied with generous portions of mouth-watering pastas, meats, seafood and cheeses served on wooden boards. Carasatu bread coupled with either rosemary, honey or g... read more

A great respite from the chaos of tourists – I've been to Sardinia twice (once inside, once outside). Both were pleasant experiences, but inside is a touch more... "formal", for lack of a better word. I live in the tourist area, so this is a nice break from that.
not good – Five friends and I went to Sardinia because we have read great reviews about the place. Only one person in our group was happy with what she ordered. I had the pasta with lamb ragu. The sauce was bitter and completely overpowered any flavor from the lamb. I also tried the veal meatball appetizer. It had no flavor. A friend ordered the oxtail and rissotto. The meat was flavorful but the rissotto didn't taste like much. The desserts were excellent, but I was expecting more than that. The coffee was so bad, all three... read more
Beyond the typical Italian- New York style dishes – I have dined here over 20 times (mostly lunch and only once for dinner). The waitstaff is extremely friendly, most from Italy and they can describe the dishes to you in detail. Try the unique Sardinian dishes like with mint veal ragu. My favorite is the vegtable/meat/cheese dish where you get to pick 3 of each and it is enough for two people
Authentic Italian cuisine is always on the menu at this lively and inviting trattoria. – In Short You know you're welcome when you walk into a dining room surrounded by wine racks and cozy wood décor. This isn't that casual dining chain you settle for sometimes. Meats like rabbit, suckling pig, hen, and lamb that don't typically make it onto mainstream Italian eateries find a way to your table here. Pastas, antipasti, and seafood dishes are available, but don't miss out on the crisp flatbread, offered with a variety of eclec... read more
Just not a great restaurant – I have dined at Sardinia twice to make sure that my first visit wasn't just the place having an off night. I can now state that the place is below average based on two visits. The food and wine are very expensive for what you actually get. The service is quite inattentative and the slow kitchen produces some of the MOST UN-INSPIRED food I have ever consumed. They also have a NO CORKAGE policy which really irritates me, as most any restaurant will allow you to bring your own fine wines for a fee.... read more
The food is unveliebable! & the unparalell service from the waitter Stefano is amazing. If you go to Sardinia you must ask for Stefano. He is the best.
