In July I had an eye exam by Dr La Jolie and her assistant conducted the full exam and the Dr. Herself came in afterward to discuss the exam. That evening however, I started to notice a rash under my chin and my throat started to feel sore. A few days later I was worse, including a high fever. Went to my Dr. Who told me I had strept throat with a secondary infection and bronchial cough. This is August 5th and, I still don't feel well, still coughing. I called at 9 am to get an appointment for an eye infection. I was told that someone would call me back when the doctor reviewed the message. I never received a call and stopped at the office around 2 pm to see what the status was. I discovered that an appointment had been made for 3:30 pm. A prescription was requested with the expectation that I would pick it up shortly after the visit and begin taking it immediately, however, the prescription was sent to the mail order department of the pharmacy vice the local pharmacy. I had an appointment for 6/9 at Saratoga Eyecare at 8:45 am. I drove from Lake Pleasant, normally a 1 1/2 hour drive. Because of road repairs and lane closures, it took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to get there arriving at 9 am. When I arrived and attempted to check in, the first receptionist said I could not be seen because I was 15 minutes late.
