My daughter was visiting Florida with her grandparents on a vacation. After swimming, she was complaining of an ear-ache. They took her to Doctors hospital of Sarasota for treatment. They gave her an antibiotic. I was charged almost $2000.00 for the visit. With my high deductible insurance, I have to pay 2000 dollars out of my pocket for an earache!
I just received the bill for the ER visit. They charged me $13994.00. for a cat scan!!! The national average is $3275.00. THAT IS ROBBERY!!!!!
We arrived at requested time, registered. Pre op one hour later. Radiology doc Riggi was rude, didn’t want to listen, and had preconceived ideas. Tone changed after procedure when didn’t go the way he said it would Radiology nurse Genece very nice but didn’t listen when we tried to explain pain issue then after procedure twilight sedation failed, told us to let folks know of issues. My husband and I tried. Belittling Very disappointed. Lots of smiles but no true communication. Seemed to be scripted to get good evaluations.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hospital! They have taken such great care of my daughter, especially the Radiology Department & Dr. Righi. They calmed our nerves & walked us through a very stressful situation. They honestly treated us like family.
RecommendedHad a colonoscopy today. The entire staff was wonderful.

Thank you for taking great care of Hayden and making sure we got the proper treatment and transport. Hayden had a successful surgery at All Children’s, and is back home resting. All I wanted to do was attend a lecture they publicly advertised. The lecture was presumably to get you involved in their company. I spent 10 minutes providing ALL the info they asked for, just to go to the event. Every scrap of contact info, DOB, etc. THEN they wanted all the same info for my companion, which was not mine to offer up. Bad, bad way to accomplish their goal of drawing you into their potential customer database.
Staff is friendly but not very knowledgeable. To many mistakes. This should be a teaching hospital.
