Our daughter recovered from a severe eating disorder (bulimia) that lasted about a decade. I value a healthy life and believe that mental health is a very important part of having a content, happy and healthy life. I also work in the mental health field so find that talking along with reflection allows me to understand situations and others in a better way. As easy as it is to find a therapist, it can be challenging to find one that appreciates cultural nuances and how they can shape our experience.
