Not only one of my favorite parts of the Triangle, one of my favorite places on Earth! The Duke Gardens are gorgeous any time of year, though admittedly Spring, Summer and Fall are best -- and they are constantly adding new things to see and experience. Great for a walk, picnic, photography, and West Campus is close by with even more to see. So well planned and executed, too -- and yet it never feels too formal or "stuffy".
One of the BEST places to visit - often. Great place for walks, taking in nature and picnics.
Such beauty at every turn. My daughter choose these gardens to gift her husband with glasses that allow him to see colors.it was so special and emotional.

Beautiful and peaceful place. Spent almost 3 hours walking and enjoying the different gardens/ themes and trails. Incredible plant diversity, beautiful terraces and pergolas and the place is well kept. A must see when in Durham.
