I write this review without any hesitation. Dr. Richey has been my sleep medicine doctor for years now. My case has been challenging and very complicated to say the least. Throughout all the years Dr Richey has not given up on me. Dr. Richey is very compassionate and takes the time to listen to my issues/concerns. Mixed experience. From 2017 thru 2020 I had to be rather persistent with multiple depts & physicians at Kaiser, but eventually obtained treatments that improved my sleep from "awful" to "below average". With regard to the aptly named "sleep apnea dept", there was a 2.5 year insistence on using a CPAP device. This began before Dr Richey arrived at Kaiser, but was continued by her. Greeted well, (I believe Marciana), she shared her name. Dr Richey was right on time, greeted me by Dr Docktor! A rarity for this former CPMG doc. Dr Richey is the most thorough physician that I’ve met as an MD since 1979 and in my lifetime. I am blessed. That’s all that needs to be said. Not rushed, empathetic, compassionate and a great sense of humor. Thank you KP. Carry on.
She's a really superb doctor, she knows her stuff.
It's extremely rare to find a doctor that you feel like a real person when you see them. Dr Richey puts off an energy that feels like you have known each other always. I have extreme confidence in her medical advise. While under her care my quality of life has noticably and significantly improved.
