I've been a patient of Dr. Juul's for several years now and have benefited greatly from her therapy and expertise. Psychoanalysis is not for everyone, but for me, I wanted to work on issues that other types of therapy were not able to address. Dr. Juul is a trusted physician who has patiently helped me in my journey to better mental health.
Identified so many traumas and triggers in my life and then refused to actually help me work through them. Seemingly forgot about most of them when I brought them up in later sessions. Then refused to let me terminate services. 8k in debt because my insurance wasn’t accepted (even though I went through a lengthy process through Emory to find someone affordable who accepted my insurance). Years later and I am still working through the trauma that was this therapy.
