Dr. Hon and her staff are excellent, caring and knowledgeable. She and her staff are very understanding not only of the patient but also of the caregiver. They have assisted us in securing needed medication for dementia through organizations that provide them without cost to our patient who cannot afford them. We are blessed to have Dr. Hon and her staff "in our corner".
I have been a patient of Dr. Hon's for about 15 years now. She does a wonderful job working with patients and helping to find medications that work for them and does a great job listening to patients when there are issues and works to get them resolved as quickly and effectively as possible.
Dr. Sarah Hon has been my neurologist for over nine years. Her professional competency in neurology is highly recognized by her colleagues and patients. She is highly skilled in differential diagnosis across medical disciplines and internal medicine needs of her patient. She is thorough and patient with clients; all questions are welcomed. She coordinates care with medical specialists & PCPs without hesitation. Her availability to clients is timely and backed up by her team of colleagues.
Following initial conversation, Dr Hon recommended an in-office test. Dr. Hon shared the test results directly and clearly, gave a realistic prediction of the evolution of the problem over time and recommended a treatment plan that I could do on my own.
I am a nurse for an organization that provides care for individuals with developmental/intellectual deficiencies. Several individuals I serve go to Dr. Hon and she is exceptional in her care and evaluations of patients. She listens to concerns and ideas with an open mind.
She is understanding, compassionate and personable while exuding professionalism.... Very easy to talk to and trust...
EXCELLENT diagnostic skills in a complex case in which others were offering the "easy" answer. She took the time to personally review the radiology images and evaluate the clinical setting to find the REAL issue. Her bedside manner is impeccable and exemplary. She is the IDEAL doctor!

Does not spend adequate time explaining diagnosis. She talked with me for a full 5 minutes before bringing back med samples and writing a prescription. Very rude and rushed appointment. She is extremely biased when talking about your personal choices/health decisions and inquiring about your medical history. I am neither confident in her medical advice, nor wanting to return to see her for a follow up. I have never met with a professional as rude or condescending as her.
