I had just moved to Kansas City for a new job when I had a vestibular migraine attack. It lasted for two weeks with vertigo and head pain until I sought care at KU. The ER had me follow-up with Dr. Hon, and it was truly the worst medical experience I've ever had. My initial appointment with Dr. Hon, she took a lot of time and asked a lot of questions prior to her diagnosis and treatment plan. 2nd visit, went ok, much less time spent. Injections, whirlwind appt. In and out in 15 minutes. I was having some pretty unsettling symptoms afterwards that could have or could not have been related to the injections so I left a message for Dr. Hon's nurse to call me back about my concerns. Dr Hon has been amazing. I would recommend her to anyone. She listened to all of my complaints and was interested in my thoughts about my own treatment.

I highly recommend Dr Hon. She immediately put me at ease and earned my trust as she is well informed and up to date on current treatments for my chronic migraines. She listens to everything I have to say. If I have any concerns, no matter how silly they may seem, she makes the time to give me answers that I can understand.
