I move for my job often and needed to establish an allergy Dr in Amarillo again. I wanted to see Dr. Biggs but had to see the Nurse Practitioner. Basically he had me cornered and knew it. He talked about himself for over an hour (yes I timed it). I was in a patient hostage situation. BEWARE OF THEIR BILLING PRACTICES. They charged me over $600 for allergy testing, turned around and billed my insurance and sat on my money for 7 months! I didn’t know until they wanted to charge me $150.00 for a regular appointment, even after I showed them I only needed to pay $25. The receptionist and office manager still had the ofdacity to tell me I had a small credit and that it “might” cover that day’s appointment. We were not informed of their policies for shot scheduling and when we wanted to transfer our shots to a different clinic they have been reluctant to get the transfer done. They get 0 stars from us. We really like Dr. Biggs, however, her front office needs some education when it comes to service.
Dr. Biggs is very kind and very knowledgeable. This will be our fourth allergist for my son and she seems the most knowledgeable by far. Extra bonus is that you can understand her! She speaks on the patients level. The staff is kind and helpful. Allergy serum does take a while to get in, but well worth the wait for a more specified dosage.
Went in for allergy test and dr still does not have my shots ready. It has been almost a month. I have called and still no shots or even a date of when they will be ready. If you are in a hurry with extreme allergy problems. This is not the place you should go.
