I am interested in all kinds of GI diseases, and I believe in customizing therapy to the individual person. No two people are alike, and what works for one person may not be the right treatment for another. I like to work with patients until we find the best solution for their particular problem. I believe that good communication is the key to a successful partnership and like to make sure patients have a good understanding of the entire process.

I had an upper endoscopy by Sarah Rodriguez, whose poor technique caused an upper gastrointestinal bleeding to the point where it necessitated hospitalization. After I was discharged from the hospital, she did not call me to follow up (I was seen by another doctor at the hospital). I had to call her office to have her call me and when she did, she was dismissive and minimized the event and my symptoms. I have had many upper endoscopies done for my current condition by other Gastroenterologists and they were all uneventful. H... read more
I had a follow-up appointment with Dr Rodriguez recently. She always knows my history and has given me wonderful care through the years. I am at the point that I do not need to see her often but could not give her higher praise.
I am a previous patient of Dr. Rodriguez. I had been having severe lower abdomonial cramping for a long time. Dr. R. has great bedside manner, she is easy to talk to, even about uncomfortable topics. She offered me several options, with backup plans, and even gave me notes to take with me-I forget easily. Dr. R. also ordered a couple of tests to be thorough. Also, every person I spoke with on the phone from making the appointment to scheduling my follow up were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help.
she’s kind
Very good experience. She put me at ease.
I had my colonoscopy screen in NY last year with a horrible experience. They didn't remove all polyps and requested a surgery. I do my screen again with this doctor and everything goes perfectly without any issue. This is a best doctor I have ever met and will schedule my next service with her again.
First visit, very impressed.
I have been to see her twice. I returned the second time, even though she is not conveniently located based on where I live, but because she puts her patients at ease. She is bright, speaks clearly, plainly cares, and answers all questions thoroughly.
