For the 4 yrs. that my son commuted from Tacoma to Seattle to school, we stopped by here to eat at least once a week (sometimes twice) on our way home from the bus station. The food was excellent, the price reasonable and the portions generous. The owners are very nice. Since I no longer go to Tacoma on a daily basis, I don't go there as often, due to its distance from my home. But whenever I find myself in Fife, I'll stop by even if it is just for take out. The Sapporo is not open on Sunday.
Great lunch spot! I though it was a very good place to eat. With so many poor choices to pick from in Fife this place stands out. There is something for everybody so its great for a lunch meeting.
Great for lunch! This is a great place to go for lunch. The portions are perfect and the food is great. It's always crowded but well worth waiting for a table. Very nice interior as well.
Great sushi – We stumbled upon this place on our way to Anacortes & loved it! Phenomenal service & fresh sushi with rather large size portions, particularly the rolls. Very friendly service with a view of Rainier too! Highly recommended!
Best Sushi in Tacoma/Seattle HANDS DOWN! – This place is everything sushi, the minute you walk in you are greeted as if you are family, they even give you your very own chopsticks with your name on them upon request. GREAT PLACE TO EAT!! My family has followed this family from their restuarant in Lakewood to their new place in Fife. Though they have a new building and now offer sushi, the warm friendly family that runs this wonderful establishment is the same. Everything is GREAT! Excellent sushi, wonderful owners, and high value – I love this place!!! The owners are wonderfully hospitable, the food is excellently prepared and high quality fresh fish, and the ambiance is great for a smaller restaurant. The best part is all this value for a very affordable price. I go every Friday night along with several of my coworkers, so I hope to see you there.
