I really enjoyed our night out at Sapore. The food was excellent and the portions were big. We took our leftovers home and it made an excellent meal the next night. The staff was very pleasant, warm and welcoming. The restaurant was clean and nicely set up. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was it was so small. Not that that is necessarily bad. This was my first visit to Sapore and my immediate impression was that of an exceptionally friendly, warm and service focused establishment. I was not disappointed. An extensive menu offered a wide choice of antipasto's, pasta's, pizza's and entree's. The Bruschetta was delightful and my snapper on a vegetable rissoto was cooked to perfection. The attentive and friendly service by the staff was faultless. I consider it to be a fair & reasonably priced restaurant, which is well worth a visit and highly recommended.
Risotto de Pesci is a wonderful dish and perhaps a new favorite. Sapore staff is genuine and refreshingly happy - which leads me to believe management is treating them well. The food is the draw, and the atmosphere and people are what brings me back. Just an amazing jewel with small restaurant warmth. In a place like Metro Houston, it can be daunting opening and competing but the folks have knocked it out of the park!

Food was good. The service was good. I even love that balsamic vinegar that they serve with the bread. My decaf coffee, not so! It was so weak and lukewarm. I had asked our server to reheat it, twice! It still came back not hot enough to my liking. We would like to try it again. Maybe next time, my coffee will be better.
