Best Italian food in Texas, My favorite is the House "Sapore Salad" and the stuffed veal chop!
I ate at Sapore with my family and everything was absolutely great. The alfredo sauce was amazing and was told by the owner that it's made fresh after you order. I tried some of my dad's veal parmesan, and it may have been the best veal I've had. We also shared deserts, and the mango gelato was my favorite, it was delicious and the closest to real Italian gelato I have had outside of Italy. On top of the food being great, the service and atmosphere were too. Highly recommended.
Hands down the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. The food - beautiful presentation, especially on the desserts; the taste was out of this world. By far the best Alfredo sauce I've ever eaten. The service - perfect; our waitress was very helpful and really made you feel like you were being cared for. We were able to talk with Georgios for a good amount of time as well, and he is simply wonderful. This restaurant is going places - it's the closest to Italy you can get without a plane ticket!

The filet de fungi is so good, I can't get my husband to ever order anything else! Personally, I love the Redfish and the Sapore salad. Mmmm!!!!

I had dinner here with a few girlfriends and as big Italian food lovers, we definitely indulged! The tiropita appetizer is a must - my favorite! The lobster ravioli was delicious and plentiful with lobster pieces. For dessert, the chocolate mousse was rich and a definite if you're a chocolate lover! This is without a doubt the best calimari I've ever had, the lamb falls off the bone and the tiramisu is to die for. I'm going to make Sapore a frequent visit, very worth the drive from Houston!
