I ordered the Bahn Mi sandwich. It came without the Jalapeno Peppers as described and the chicken fillet had gristle/cartilage in it. The bun that it came on was less than stellar for a restaurant that seems to pride itself in it's baked goods. They could also do something about the accoustics inside, the din of the lunch crowd was nearly unbearable and conversing with your lunch mate was difficult at best. So normally sap is my favorite breakfast stop, always for chicken and waffles on Sunday. Always been worth the wait, today I was disappointed. The waffle was tiny and tasted like it was made from boxed pancake batter and the chicken was dry and bland. My fiance order the corned beef hash and it was also dry and bland. I am hoping this was just an off day for the kitchen staff...
Love this place. The food is fresh and yummy. Well and those desserts ....are to die for!!
If in the Appleton, Little Chute area, this place is a must stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Farm to table, reasonably priced and delicious food. Proprietors also own Camilla's Italian Bistro located two doors down in the strip mall. We were there for lunch at 1:30, considered "late" in my book and had to wait 20 minutes. this was on a random Thursday. I tell you - it's great!
Sap is always a guaranteed delicious meal. Not only is all the food awesome, the people are always so nice. My mother and I are total regulars and we have yet to be disappointed. I go especially for the eggs benedict. Actually the best I've ever had. If you haven't been there, I highly suggest you go.

It was our first time there and three of us were having coffees and desert with the possibility of food. The hostess explained that during the dinner time that a table may not be available, but this was at 4:00 PM, so we could sit at a table! My feeling is that at $6.00 a desert, coffees and a sandwich to go with a total of a $37 tab, that having a table should not even be a discussion! I get it if there was only one person and a coffee, but this was just not a comfortable experience. The waitress was fine!
Good server, bad hostess, poorly temped meat, first burnt then raw burger. Hostess agreed not to 'charge me for either burger I got' both were inedible, and one was to replace the other, there should not have been a 'charge' for it!
My first visit to the Appleton area and looking for a quick breakfast, and I was not disappointed. The staff was nice and attentive, and the food was good. I especially loved the carrot cupcake.
