Dr. Ramirez and his staff have done an excellent job to address all of my cardiac problems. They were able to work me in despite him having a really busy schedule. He made sure to explain each one of my problems in detail. He may be running a bit behind sometimes but I know that when it is my turn he will give me the appropriate attention and care that I need. Overall, if you are looking for a cardiologist, I highly recommend Dr. Santiago Ramirez.

Dr Ramirez was recommended by my PCP. Scheduling was snap, the office and the staff were nice. My first echo was efficient, well guided through the procedure and they were very patient with me. Dr. Ramirez was easy to talk to, explained the results in a way that made sense, and answered my questions. Bottom line, they took great care of me.

The incompetency of his office staff does not make up for his expertise. A stress test was required before foot surgery could be performed. They scheduled him for a treadmill! Idiots. Then told us the nuclear test is only done 2x a month, and the 2x have passed.

I went to my primary care doctor for my routine blood pressure check and learned that it was time for my Medicare welcome exam. As part of this exam, I was given an EKG that turned out to be abnormal. My primary doctor referred me to an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Santiago Ramirez. I was able to get an appointment in a few weeks. I was given another EKG and then met with Dr. Ramirez. He explained in depth what tests they would do to find out if my heart was functioning normally and if there were any blockages. Dr. Ramir... read more

We had questions about my recently diagnosed condition and Dr. Ramirez took the time to answer all my, and my wife's, questions to our complete satisfaction. The discussion eased our concerns. He was most patient.

I have been Dr Ramirez's patient for nearly 19 years. He is the most straightforward, honest, dedicated and trustworthy physician I've ever had. He listens and explains things well. While a few of my wait times have been longer than usual, I understand it's because sometimes we require more attention than others. I myself have been in that position and appreciate that he doesn't brush me off to stay on schedule. Putting the patient first is becoming a lost art. I highly recommend him.

WORST STAFF EVER! they are rude. Wont even look at you when they are speaking to you. I see older patients ask question and they answer rudely. The HEAD nurse or ASSISTANT is the RUDEST of ALL, the staff and Ramirez is VERY RUDE. Most of his patients are on medicare and I constantly hear them complain in the waiting room, they don't have many options in Nogales Az. Wait is more than an hour with an appointment. He does procedures that aren't really needed to charge insurance companies.
