Condescending, rude, disrespectful. My adult daughter’s neuropsych evaluation came back just fine except she can’t remember two days ago. He made his money & blew me & my daughter off. Hands down would never recommend him.
This man is belittling, rude, argumentative and overall an unsafe person to be receiving results from. I put a more personalized review of my experience directly on Google. There are better doctors and places out there that will actually listen to you.
Dr. Santa Maria listened well and helped me to understand the evaluation.
Dr. Santa Maria was asked to provide an evaluation of my daughter so she could receive help from Autism Services in Buffalo. My daughter was on SSI for her autism-related disability. She has been in special education and supportive programs her whole life. He did not read the reports from psychiatrists, teachers, therapists. When Dr. Santa Maria interviewed her, he told her that she was fine and that everyone else through the years was wrong. So she took herself off SSI. She estranged herself from her entire family. This man made me feel unsafe.
Santa Maria did not listen to my concerns, and made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe.
I felt belittled and my concerns ignored when talk to Santa Maria. His understanding and subsequent diagnosis were lacking at best. Trust the negative reviews and seek help elsewhere.
My experience with Dr Santa Maria was impressive. He listened well and amazingly managed to record all of the information that he included in his written report. I am positive he was totally thorough in his record gathering as he was thorough in his total evaluation and he started with my childhood up to current age (57.) I was referred to him by my neurologist for the exam and I’m thankful he sent me here especially after reading reviews about the other drs in the area. I would definitely recommend Dr Santa Maria.
I got referred here and now I’m scared to even come bc I won’t get taken serious or that they won’t therolly do it (bad reviews)so I think I’m going to try somewhere else :/
