These reviews were surprising, but I think they're old? I had a fantastic experience with my appointment here and my experience with Dr. Stewart. Great deal, nice people!
Won't work with your insurance, you have to take on a whole new job and gamble with getting reimbursed for your vision healthcare!
Be careful if you go to Costco to get an eye exam - their optometrist wants to charge you a range of $95-140 dollars based on how poor your eyesight is. This means that the poorer your eyesight is (for example if you have astigmatism) you will have to pay more. Do not be taken advantage of for having poor eye sight - shop around for a cheaper optometrist. I still buy contacts and glasses from Costco but will not be going back to the optometrist.
Beware: You will be charged extra if you have even a mildly unusual condition like astigmatism. The sign on the office wall says contact lens exams are $99, but my wife was charged $129 because she has astigmatism in one eye, though no special tests were required as a result.
I got something in my eye while I was shopping at Costco and Dr. Kook was so nice. She actually helped get it out in less than 5 mins.
