Such a beautiful safe loving environment to bring a child into the world. This is more than just a place to give birth you’re creating a community and a family around one of the most significant events in your life. I’m so grateful that we have this option in Santa Barbara.
We could not be happier with our decision to give birth at the SB Birth Center. I felt so much more relaxed throughout my pregnancy due to my regular appointments with the midwives and the trust that my baby and I were in good hands. My husband and I also learned a lot and made great friends through their birth class series. My labor was challenging, lasting 30 hours, with the baby’s head in a tricky position, and I’m convinced that if I were at the hospital I would have needed an epidural, episiotomy and/or c-section. SB Birth Center has such a supportive and caring staff of midwives. They were a gift throughout my wife's pregnancy, and they were full of encouragement and care through labor and delivery. Thank you all so much!
