Return Sheila to his rightful owner. What kind of rescue steals a cat?
Please read the story of Sheila. They pressured a sick woman to foster her cat with them, promised to return her and provide her with updates (much in legally binding written agreements), however refused to return her and adopted her out as the woman recovered from her sickness (several bouts of sepsis). This is cruel and unethical behavior. She has contacted them through lawyers and various sources, yet has still been stonewalled.
EDIT: and look at that! They blocked me on fb. Y'all are super unprofessional Great job for deleting reviews about the people telling y'all to return Sheila back to his rightful owner. She was sick, was promised her cat would be returned to her by the foster and yet she was ghosted by y'all. Only to find out y'all had adopted Sheila out against her wishes, When y'all had told his owner that he wouldn't be adopted. Y'all are horrible and don't deserve 5 stars.
They adopt out pets under the guise that they will temporarily foster until their owner gets over their sickness. Nope! They adopt them out even though they said they won't. Return Sheila back to his mommy, please! You guys are so unethical.
What an amazing place and amazing group of people. My husband and I adopted two kitten brothers that were rescued by Sante Dor when they were tiny babies. They were bottle fed and raised by their foster parent Jody with love, care, and experience. And being first time cat parents, our coordinator Morgan really held our hands through out the whole process, she is always SO patient, helpful, and knowledgeable with all-cat-related things!!
