Due to a childhood phobia, it's been longer than I care to admit since I've been inside a dental office (like 20+ years!) and needless to say I was just terrified of what was in store when I finally decided to be an adult and face the music. First of all - he and his staff care so much about their patients...even new ones. They don't judge you, they are warm and friendly, and they are so very knowledgeable. Oh hai, just the best dentist and staff ever... This was the first time I have felt like my mouth was mine and not a series of gaps to be generically handled. Scott is truly an artist and a genuine care taker for the oral health and well being of his patients. I appreciate the level of skill, attention to detail, and the warm humor in this office tremendously. I am grateful to have confidence that my mouth and smile have this fantastic team behind them. I found Dr. Updyke on Yelp (he was the only one with 8 reviews). His office did not disappoint. They got me in immediately (they had a cancelation), my hygenist Pam did such a thorough job with my teeth. They are squeeky clean! She also explained what she was doing and I learned why I am inclined to build up tartar. It made me happy to learn something new! Kris at the front desk went above and beyond with my insurance questions, etc. I highly recommend this office!
