Had a cadaver ligament put in by Dr.Mehta within 3 months of physical therapy it tore and I was in the same pain all over again
Dr. Metha replaced my right hip 11-08-2022 at Baptist Health New Albany. Prior to the surgery, he let me know exactly what to expect from the surgery and recovery. He is direct and I appreciated that. My surgery went very well. I walked three times on the day of my 8 am procedure. Very little pain, off drugs (and crutch) after one week, driving after two weeks. I still do the prescribed exercises and limit some activities. The overall experience has greatly exceeded my expectations. I would definitely reccommend Dr.Metha.
Had severe pain and arthritis in my knee. I had metal screws and plates. No one would touch me and I needed them out to get a total knee replacement. He took on the challenge and was successful. 6 months later got a new knee. He took the time to listen and was very professional...
Lots of red flags. Did not return my calls pre-surgery concerning abnormal blood test results. I showed up for knee replacement surgery date and was told it had been canceled. I was not notified of this! Poor communication between his staff and getting release from cardiologist in time for surgery date. I ended up getting a second opinion from another doctor in Nashville who said that the knee repair Mehta performed last year was unnecessary (knee should have been replaced at that time because it was bone on bone). Can’t say enough good about Dr. Mehta,he is thoughtful,kind caring etc.He is not just a wonderful Doctor he is a wonderful person as well,I think the world of him.
Don't go unless your only issue is kidney trouble. Was given medicine in the hospital but was not told what it was and refused to explain it to me. Did not take into account my other medical conditions and caused me to lapse into a coma even though I brought my medical records with me. Then, even though he was in network would not accept what the insurance paid and I had to pay what the insurance deemed above acceptable charges and I have great insurance. Dr Mehta is awesome!! He takes the time to listen to his patient & is very thorough.
I only wish all my medical experiences were as good as my visits and surgeries with Dr.Metha and his staff.
Dr. Mehta is one of the best orthopedic doctors that I have ever met. He has treated and followed my son since he was 11 for SCFE of the hips. He is caring, compassionate and always willing to take the time to listen to any concerns that I may have. My son is 18 now and is doing remarkable Thanks to Dr. Mehta. We would definitely recommend him to anyone that is needing an amazing orthopedic doctor. I know that the wait time us generally long but he is definitely worth it.
