Went to this amazing Surgeon who repaired my rotator cuff a few weeks ago. This surgeon provided the BEST care before and after surgery. He called himself after surgery to check on me and made sure I was okay. One of the #1 Surgeons Kaiser Permanente has. Thank you Doctor!
I was so happy at the experience I received today. You showed me my X-ray and went into detail about what was going on with my knee, why I was in pain, and then assessed with medication. You also answered all my questions as to what I should do going forward, thanks for being so patient.
If I could give less than one star, I would. I slipped and hit the inside of my knee on my kitchen tile at the end of June. The fall caused my knee to become hot and swollen and I could barely walk without it “catching” and having a severe, stabbing pain. Since my x-rays and MRI seemed fine but I was still having pain several weeks later (and after a cortisone shot), my orthopedic surgeon referred me to Dr. Shin for a second opinion. I was referred by a friend that is a doctor, that had heard some good things about this doctor. The staff was great, no wait time although I was running late. I brought in my own MRI report with CD and had x-rays prior to visit. I was able to give him a descent history because I work in the medical field. This doctor did not examine me, took one look at me and told me that I needed to work out more.
