Five years ago I had a near fatal accident .It took eleven operations just to my face .There care was great ,they told me each time what was to take place for each operation other the very first as I was so disfigured it did matter any ways . The doctor and the nurses were just awesome .
Every staff member my family and I encountered went out of their way to help us and make sure our needs were met and our questions answered. Within a week my daughter had ankle surgery, then an ED visit due to pain and a medication reaction. A few days later my mother had a major stroke and a lengthy ICU stay. In addition to excellent medical care the staff and physicians were able to accommodate my needs. I live out of state and came to help my daughter, then ended up doubling the length of my stay.
They are a joke. Have been waiting three months for an appointment for my two year old son mind you this is a two day inpatient appointment. They call the day before and tell us we need to push it to next week Tuesday. If we can't take this appointment we have to wait another three months. Mind you my daughter who is four has surgery scheduled for that day, they don't care either take this date or wait three months. My daughters can be rescheduled easier. I am so sick of Sanford and their crap. They are a huge joke.
I was there 18 days the care was excellent staff superior best place to be when critical. They will take good care of you always in God's hands.

To the doctors & nurses I say thank you ! Spent a few days here in really bad shape & they got things figured out & got me back to normal !
