I lived in the Greenway apartments and it was the worse apartment I have ever lived in. Not only is the building dirty and discusting but the management is very rude. They charged me a nonrefundable move in fee which was over $100 and did not pro-rate my first 1/2 month of rent. The manager Denise said that the reason she did not prorate my rent was because I had to pay a move-in fee, which I later found out is illegal. Management refuses to acknowledge mistake or call back – No complaints with the apartment itself. Long story short; apartment manager at the Vintage apartment, in NE, threw away our potted plants without warning. She acknowledged that she should have given us some warning, like posting a notice on our doors, before throwing property away. Okay, fair enough. People make mistakes. Terribly unkempt apartments, Bad property Management – Bristol Equities will increase your rent every year. In the past 3 years they have started not only raising your rent but adding a water & sewer charge on. They also raise this every year. These look adorable with hardwoods and crystal doorknobs but are FULL of mold, peeling, chipping paint and cracks. horrible customer service and management – i have lived there once before and wanted to move back in because i had finished up college. the first time i called i was informed that two one bedrooms were coming available and that they would call me as soon as they were ready for me to see. jill NEVER called so i ended up calling her back and was told that they had already rented them and there was only a small studio left. at this point i had no choice but to take it because i had already passed up several other apartments in ... read more
