Sir/Madam: I write this to give a voice to those seldom heard but often disregarded and mistreated by dealerships. I arranged with the Daphne Dealership to purchase a 2026 Lincoln Aviator Reserve for $81,900.00 before reduction and trade in. I sent an electronic $1000.00 deposit to hold the vehicle for three days, picking up on February 27, 2026. All financial arrangements had been confirmed between the dealership and USAA. Took my new 2024 F-150 King Ranch for an oil change and to see why when you did a self test of the onboard generator it would cause it to fault. After 7 days with no results on the generator I did a quick google seach about the generator self test. I discovered that thats what the self test is suppose to do and that Ford put a bulletin out to all its dealerships in 2023 on this problem. So, the dealership mechanics had no clue about it and I solved it on my own in 15 minutes…..7 days they had it! Unacceptable!!
