Took my new 2024 F-150 King Ranch for an oil change and to see why when you did a self test of the onboard generator it would cause it to fault. After 7 days with no results on the generator I did a quick google seach about the generator self test. I discovered that thats what the self test is suppose to do and that Ford put a bulletin out to all its dealerships in 2023 on this problem. So, the dealership mechanics had no clue about it and I solved it on my own in 15 minutes…..7 days they had it! Unacceptable!!
