My husband went to see NP Sandy Chhiv, he called me after the appointment so upset because this Np was rushing, talking over him when he was trying to explains his health concerns. She didn’t even let him finished and told him that he only had 30 minutes and those 30 minutes were up. She left and didn’t say anything else. I went to an NP because they’re friendlier and often better at treating me than MDs… is what I said before I went to Sandy. I went to her a few times and she was extremely rude to her medical assistants, but nice to me (at first). She said I should schedule an appointment 8 months out. At the appointment she sped through everything and was racing out the door when I asked her if I could ask questions. She sighed and said that the medical assistants needed to go on break. NP Chhiv became my 95 year old father's NP early this year. She has been very thorough in getting to understand his complicated situation. She and her staff are great with him and very accommodating to meet his needs. She is also very quick to respond to my urgent messages as new issues arise. I would highly recommend her.
avoid at all cost. I was dealing with horrific migraines back in 2022 & Dr. Lee (chivv) prescribed a treatment that worked well (pain killers). Due to the stigma around pain medication, I requested only 15 pills so she knew I wasn’t misusing the medication. 3 months later she sent me an email explaining that she was going to stop prescribing me the medication due to the side effects. I guess due to my age (27) she thought I was requesting refills for fun. Not sure why, since the pharmacy I used already had strict regulations... read more
