Just stopped in because I was having an issue putting my chain on my saw. The gentleman that helped me was super friendly while he fixed my issue. He also provided me with proper instructions for when I encounter the same issue in the future. I appreciate a business like this that takes the time to educate their customers. Thank you- Geoff

I needed a smaller chainsaw and decided to visit Sandy Chainsaw based on the reviews from other customers. Tim is a legend in the local community regarding his skill and willingness to help a customer. He did not have the saw I wanted, but ordered one for me which I picked up the next day. He equipped it with my desired bar, had it installed and chain tensioned, fueled up and ready to go. He offered a few tips on how to keep the saw in perfect running order (mainly around fuel issues) and provided a few tools I would need... read more

Tim is the man . I have been coming to this saw shop for many years and I have always received top notch service. Tim always stops what he is doing to help and sometimes just BS. That kind of customer service goes along way. I am not a logger or tree service company ,just a firewood hack. I get treated very well and will recommend this shop to anyone. Keep up the good work Sandy saw shop🤘

I got exactly what I asked for at a fair price but I felt like I was an inconvenience I let that go. No problem probably busy. So today i stopped in for saw repair. I was told 5 weeks it wasn’t the timeline it was the off putting way I was told. Customer before me was attempting small talk. The individual behind the counter was expressing how busy he was and might as well stay at the counter. Well this ap... read more

Tim's obviously very experienced and just a really nice guy. I walked into the store with my Husky chainsaw, because the chain was stuck, it just wouldn't move at all. It wasn't the chain brake! Tim took one look at the chain and said "I know exactly what's wrong!". And he was right! After my last use with a loose chain, the chain was thrown off. After I'd put the chain back on again, it got burred and that's why it was jammed and couldn't travel on the bar. Tim filed down some of the burrs and after less than 5 minutes h... read more
