Sandtrap Restaurant is Great for Snacks! The Sand Trap is the sort of "restaurant" you should stop at either before or after a round of golf...it is not sit-down food, as you order from a window. I had heard that this can be extremely time-consuming, but in our experience, they were very quick. I recommend the shrimp cocktail, which I have been ordering for years and is excellent. The menu changes from mexican food during the day to italian at night, although I don't know if they always do this.
RecommendedHappy hour on a weekend?! Yes please! We found this little spot on the outside of Catalina towards the golf course. They had really good drinks and it was a cozy atmosphere with plenty of patio seating - real patio seating, not like many advertise and then you’re sitting in a parking lot 😂 — with Tim Potter.
This place is a hidden gem! Fabulous bar and the menu is something for everyone!! The food was top notch!!!!
