I was referred to Dr. Cho following an accident which crushed multiple bones in my foot. She had zero empathy with the amount of physical pain I was in (it was great and yet she never once asked or offered any meds or suggestions to relieve pain.) I got the most cursory, superficial exam and Cray then was Sent off barely limping to a medical supply office for a boot. She did not then or on follow up visit impress me at all.
If you want a podiatrist that recommends toe joint fusion surgery before looking at x-rays, without measuring toe function, without discussing pain level and without trying other treatment options first, then Dr Cho is the perfect choice. If not, stay away. I've never had anyone push so hard FOR surgery after one appointment. I find it even more alarming since this toe fusion surgery would cause immobility of that joint. Feel like that would be a last resort option, not first.
Surgery without antibiotics afterward then with infection at two week post was asked what antibiotic was given. After multiple procedures still wanted to do another amputation. I wised up and transferred care to another podiatrist who even now after 1 1/2 years states the amputation not needed and feet doing great! Called with serious issues but she would not respond. Would just have to go to er.
Dr. Cho has an amazing bedside manner. She listens to what you say and hears what you say! She is thorough and proactive. To me, it is refreshing to have a Dr. that makes eye contact and is not buried in a computer the whole time you are in the office. She made me feel at ease and I would highly recommend her.
