Do not rent any houses from this company, this is really the last thing you should ever do if you are looking for a rental somewhere. We were a group of five people that rented a house in Palm Springs from these guys in early August, just to relax and get away from the city, mainly due to the company having seemingly great reviews on airbnb. I have had only the most positive experience as a homeowner using Chris and Laurie as my property managers. They are responsive and honest unlike other property manages I've encountered. They are just fantastic.
Rented a seasonal 1 bedroom condo unit through them from 9/18 to 12/31/13. Paid a $150 cleaning fee and left a security deposit when taking occupancy. At that time the carpet had ground in dirt, was stained and was in need of replacement. After vacating the unit Sandpiper withheld $150 of the security deposit claiming the carpeting needed two cleaning sessions.
