Enjoyed my stay here. Staff very friendly, room was clean and service was great. Only problem is sometimes front desk don't answer or they let it ring several times. Also wanted a drink from machine at the ice cream shop and it was not working. Still not bad.
Wonderful place for families. This is a full service hotel to where you don't have to leave the resort if you didn't want to. They provide a variety of activities for kids through out the day and have a Tiki bar for the adults to enjoy some beverages at night (all day if thats your thing). There is an onsite deli that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and its all DELICIOUS. We have been 3 times and will be going back for a 4th. Take the time and go to the Sandpiper, you will be glad you did.. :)
The place for families. There's waterslides, a lazy river ride indoors, a small mini golf, the tiki bar on the beach, and games and planned activities for us to do each day. When you check in we got a schedule for the week, and there's always something going on. We're glad we found this place, we'd recommend to anyone with a family for sure.

My family loves the Sandpiper Beacon! We stay for 2 weeks each summer and the kids never want to leave. The rooms are clean and we always get a great rate. The staff is wonderful and helps us with anything we need. Every summer there are new and exciting activities for the whole family. Poolside movie nights, face painting and balloon art for the kids, Polynesian Fire Dancer Shows, Hula Lessons, Putt Putt Golf, Indoor Lazy River, outdoor pool with turbo slide...the list goes on. Sandpiper Beacon is very nice. Amenities and activities galore for the entire family. We would not stay anywhere else. Clean and friendly. We have been staying there for 3 years in a row (most recently May 2009) and recommend the Sandpiper Beacon as a fanatastic choice for a beach vacation in Panama City Beach.
Me and my family stay here at least ten to twelve times a year. It is incredible. We always stay on the bottom floor and you have the lazy river, 2 outdoor pools and 1 indoor and hottub. I also love the fact that it is so close to the water. We all love going to the family night karoke everynight. It really is worth every penny that you spend! So if your going to Panama City Beach and wanna have a great time I really would stay here. Have fun!!!!
We have stayed here many times when our children were younger. It has great pools and play areas for children. If your looking for a great price, nice, but not too fancy, this is the place I would pick to bring my family.
