Room is lovely. But even more lovely was Miss Julie at the front desk with her sweet smile and demeanour! I was very tired after a long day of travel, and coming to the Sandman was a much needed reprieve.

This was our 2nd reservation at this hotel. Our 1st time here, we thought the issues were a one off. Nope. It was not. The toilet ran. I had to fix it. The bathroom fan did not work. When we turned it on, it made a high pitched sound. The washer and dryer did not work. It took 4 hours to do one load. The 1st we stayed here. The pool and hot tub were down for renovations. 2nd time, they were open. And the hot tub was dirty. A lot of foamy soap suds with dirty brown skin flakes. The AC units were so loud. I have had a great experience from this location, I have booked them again for the weekend. Convenient location too! UPDATE I will never use the phone reservation to reserve a room again! I booked a room via phone call today & that was an error that I won’t make again. I was quoted a price by an agent & when I checked my credit card info I was charged a much higher price! When I called back to dispute the price quotation I had a rude male tell me that’s what the charge is & you must pay that price, then he hung up on me beca... read more
