I've been seeing Sandi for a few years now, probably the longest I've ever seen a hair dresser! She has great taste, and the space is really nice and light (literally and metaphorically). We always have a good conversation about the cut (and otherwise haha), and I don't feel like l have to wait 2 weeks or wash it out to feel good about the haircut, and it grows out beautifully. I'm sad that my experience was different than all the other 5 star ratings. I felt uncomfortable for most of the appointment and like the stylist didn't like me. I also sensed she was frustrated with me due to micro movements of my head while she was blow drying it. I was instructed to not move my head at all while she was blow drying it but with how hard she was pulling on my hair it was not possible to keep my head perfectly still. Sandi is the best. I moved away from Toronto to Halifax three years ago and still come back for her to cut my hair. She's SO skilled at what she does and really works with you to understand what you want and what would work best for your hair. I started seeing Sandi because I wanted to have a stylist who took the time to get to know me and my hair and that's the kind of experience you have with her!
