UPDATE: they didn't honor their own warranty so we bought a new fridge again but from target because they claim not to recall the date of purchase or who the seller was even though I have a signed receipt with the date of the expiration of warranty that hadn't passed yet. Called them to fix our fridge, they said it was irreparable so we bought a fridge from them and they took out the old one, 5 weeks later, under their warranty the "new" fridge dies too and lo and behold at their store is our old fridge that they claimed couldn't be repaired that they were gonna "throw away" for us as a favor.
