Totally ghosted me when I needed to make an appointment and get meds. Karissa uses a virtual lady for making appointments and you can't directly message her or call her so she's really hard to get a hold of. Got billed $250 for a random drug test that she didn't tell me about. Wears pjs to the office. Would not recommend. If you take benzos she has to write controlled meds through another doctor (that I used to go to) and I'm assuming he full retired and she has no way to write those scripts anymore.

I would highly recommend choosing a different psychiatric medication provider other than Karissa Dungy. I enjoyed working with Karissa in the beginning, but recently, out of nowhere, she began being excessively unreasonable - even bordering on hostile at times. For one thing, she changed offices without giving me sufficient notice. Karissa has helped me tremendously in discovering and managing my ADHD. She is kind, funny, and a great Psychiatrist. Deciding to get help was really difficult for me, but now I actually look forward to our sessions. I’m lucky to have found her!

Karissa is amazing and has significantly improved my mental health with the treatment plan she has created for me. I feel listened to, and she takes every one of my concerns seriously. She's been incredibly helpful and patient as this was all very new to me. With Karissas support and medication management plan, I felt confident to go back to school and finish my college degree! It is difficult to find a psychiatric provider that is competent in medication management while also having a good "bedside" manner. Karissa excells at both. She is able to navigate symptoms and listens well without judgement. I have referred several people and all have had positive experiences.
